He would sit outside my design fundamentals class, ironically. I walked out of the classroom to take a break. I remember being stressed because we had a pretty intense project that week. I’ll never forget the way I felt when I heard him call my name, for the first time, at the end of the hallway. I’ll never hear him call me Jmich… Ever again.
